Adam Miller and Nylene Wicks took victories in Saturday's inaugural ArcticCross mountain bike race, which attracted nearly 40 riders for the first event of its kind in Anchorage.
Miller completed 11 laps of the obstacle course at Abbott Community Park in 52 minutes, 36 seconds to top the men, while Wicks paced the women by completing seven laps in 42:58.
