The Colony girls rang up a perfect score, 15 points, as it swept the top seven spots Wednesday at the Mat-Su Borough cross-country running championships at the Crevasse Moraine trails in Palmer.
Alyssa Hutchins won the 2-mile race over a hilly, muddy trail in 13 minutes, 6 seconds. Su Valley's Bailey Stevenson was second, but her finish didn't count in the team standings because the Rams didn't have a full squad.
The Colony boys placed six runners in the top 10, led by Steven Sinnett's third-place showing. Palmer's Wylie Mangelsdorf won in 10:55 -- 21 seconds faster than second-place finisher Drew Ford of Wasilla.
