Eagle River's Myka Hiura scrambled for a 35-yard touchdown in Friday's 14-13 win over Dimond in conference quarterfinals.

Cierra Mickens intercepted a pass and ran it back for 40 yards for the Wolves' second score.

Extra points came from Mickens and Lana Williams while Brandy Jayne made a team-high nine pulls.

Both of Dimond's scores came from Kimmy Jackson.

Today Eagle River and top-seeded Bartlett face off in the semifinals, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Anchorage Football Stadium.

Chugiak 36, South 6

Backup quarterback Kendra Bulawa ran for three touchdowns as well as a pair of two-point conversions to pace Chugiak to a comfortable victory on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Cook Inlet Conference tournament at Chugiak Stadium.

With starting Chugiak quarterback Lorrie Clifford out of town to play in a basketball tournment, Bulawa, a sophomore, stepped in to score 22 of the Mustangs' points.

South scored early in the third quarter to cut the score to 20-6 but could get no closer.

Sophomore Sam Sweeney scored on an option play and Alev Kelter had a 25-yard touchdown for Chugiak, which moved to 12-3 on the season. The Mustangs will meet Service today in a semifinal.

Service 46, West 6

Service quarterback Bobbie Britt scored seven touchdowns to lead Service to a 46-6 quarterfinal victory over West on Friday.

Britt threw for six touchdowns and ran for one.

Service's Krysta Sumabat made six catches for 124 yards, while Ashley Sharp anchored the Cougars defense with six pulls and one interception.

Service will play Chugiak in today's semifinals.

Bartlett 20, East 0

Bartlett's Yollie Alailefaleula scored first for the Golden Bears as they shut out East 20-0 Friday.

Jessica Tillman and Gabby Todd each scored a touchdown and Kayla Young showed scrappy defense with 11 pulls.

Clifford earns offensive player of the year award again

Chugiak's Lorrie Clifford was voted flag football's Offensive Player of the Year in the Cook Inlet Conference for the second straight season.

She joined five other Mustangs who were named to the all-conference first team.

Eagle River's Brandy Jane was voted Defensive Player of the Year and West's Travis Cantrell got Coach of the Year.
