Sophomore Cortney Lundberg pounded a career-high 15 kills and provided eight block assists against Central Washington on Saturday as UAA ended a three-match losing streak.
The Seawolves (12-9, 4-4) outlasted the Wildcats 25-17, 25-18, 25-27, 15-25, 15-11 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference match at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.
Senior Rhea Cardwell provided the match-point kill, finishing with a team-high 23 kills in addition to her 13 digs.
Outside hitter Rachel Kidwell bolstered the offense with her fifth straight double-double -- 13 kills and 13 digs.
Senior Joanna Johnson made 22 digs and libero Stacie Meisner added 21 as UAA came one dig shy of its team record of 90.
UAA returns to action Wednesday when it hosts rival UAF (12-5, 6-2) at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex at 7 p.m.

UAA runners sweep
UAA's nationally ranked cross-country teams swept the UC San Diego Triton Classic on Saturday.
The seventh-ranked men's team topped a nine-team field that included No. 20 UC San Diego, placing four runners in the top five and five in the top eight to beat runner-up San Diego.
UAA sophomore Marko Cheseto placed second, covering the 10-kilometer course in 31 minutes and 29.7 seconds, finishing 22 seconds behind Jordan Chipangma of Central Arizona (31:07.2). David Kiplagat, Alfred Kangogo and Jake Parisien joined Cheseto in the top five.
The 22nd-ranked women dominated a field of 13 teams that included No. 19 San Diego, claiming their third straight meet title.
UAA's Elizabeth Chepkosgei finished third, completing the 6-K course in 21:48 while Laura Carr trailed her by 1.6 seconds to finish fourth.
