Freshman defenseman Curtis Leinweber set up both UAA goals, including Paul Crowder's pivotal third-period strike and the Seawolves tied No. 13-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato 2-2 at Sullivan Arena on Saturday night.
Leinweber also set up Josh Lunden's second-period power-play goal, which helped the Seawolves edge back from a 2-0 first-period deficit.
The Seawolves are 5-3-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The Mavericks are 4-2-2 overall and 2-2-2 in league.
Crowder and Lunden each have six goals, one shy of team leader Tommy Grant.
The Seawolves outshot the Mavericks 33-14 and took a season-low three penalties.
