Bid for a Seawolves collectible -- More than 200 items are up for grabs at the 18th annual Seawolf Auction on Thursday at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel's Howard Rock ballroom. Doors open at 6 p.m.; the live auction begins at 7 p.m. Airline tickets, hotel and restaurant packages, artwork, sports memorabilia and more will be auctioned to benefit UAA student-athletes. There will also be silent-auction tables, and free door prizes will be awarded. Admission is a $10 raffle ticket, which also includes dinner. Bike auction -- Come bid for more than 500 bikes at the YMCA/Anchorage Police Department's annual bike auction May 14. Viewing starts at 9 a.m., and bidding begins at 10 a.m. All proceeds go to youth programing at the YMCA. Admission is free. Call 563-3211.

BASEBALL

Pro instructional camp -- ABC National Baseball Camps will be presented by Dimond-West Little League from June 13-17, for minors, majors and juniors at Jade Field Complex with former professional baseball players. Cost is $200. Hitting camps are June 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 8-14. An all-around skills camp runs June 14-17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 8-10 and 1:30-4:30 p.m. for ages 11-14. Hitting camp -- Former Chicago White Sox draft pick Andre Toliver will be holding a hitting camp June 20-23 for minors, majors and juniors at Jade Field Complex. The camp runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 9-11, and 1:15-4:15 p.m. for ages 10-13. Limit 20 players per camp. Cost is $30. CYCLING

Criterium races-- The Arctic Bicycle Club will hold a series of five criterium cycling events for kids and juniors on Saturday and also May 7, 14, 28 and June 4 at 10 a.m. Games and short races for the youngest riders and older juniors (U-19) will accumulate points for the Andrew Lekisch Memorial Trophy. Racers will accumulate points for the best 3 out of 5 races. The first four events will be at Fort Richardson, and the finale will be at Goldenview Middle School on July 30. DISC GOLF

Learn to disc golf -- Come join the Alaska Disk Golf Association for some disc golf fun at Kincaid Park on Saturday at 2 p.m. The event is geared to people that are new to disc golf.
