Dimond's Chris Plooy collected a game-high 27 points and sank 11 free throws to lead three players in double figures Tuesday as the Lynx crush visiting Chugiak in Tuesday's Cook Inlet Conference opener.

Colton Lauwers drained three 3-pointers and finished with 15, while Michael Dupree added 11 points for the Lynx, who shot 54.2 percent from the perimeter.

Dustin Thies led the Mustangs with 16 points.

Eagle River senior Elijah Yaw pumped in a game-high 18 points Tuesday as the Wolves slid past visiting Service in Tuesday's CIC opener.

Yaw's brother, Nathaniel, added nine points and was one of eight Eagle River (3-2) players to score.

Leo Aukusitino led the Cougars with 14 points and Dennis Krymski added 13.
