Dimond 6, East 2

Daniel Roberts and Scott Wamsganz each scored a pair of goals to help first-place Dimond earn a crucial Cook Inlet Conference win over East on Saturday at Ben Boeke Arena.

Michael Stoner and Adam Treptow each added another goal for the Lynx, whose win gave them a six-point advantage over second-place East.

T-birds goalie Adrian Oehrlein blocked 25 shots.

Hayden McAleavey's short-handed goal in the second period was enough to lift Chugiak to a CIC win over Eagle River at the McDonald Center.

Sam Linder, who assisted on McAleavey's goal, gave the Mustangs an insurance goal later in the period. Seth Kollman earned the shut out.

N. Pole 4, Bartlett 2

Bartlett freshman Zack Perry scored one of two third-period goals, but it wasn't enough to rally the Golden Bears back as visiting North Pole won Saturday's nonconference game at the McDonald Center in Eagle River.

Perry also assisted on Erik Neimi's third-period goal.
