The Wasilla-based Arctic Predators indoor football team said it postponed a home game scheduled Saturday because fans and sponsors requested it, but Wyoming Cavalry officials say the reason was because the Predators did not buy airline tickets to bring the Cavalry to Alaska.

Jarrett Payton's touchdown with 31 seconds Saturday lifted the Chicago Slaughter to a 34-33 Indoor Football League victory over the Alaska Wild in Chicago, snapping the Wild's two-game winning streak and depriving them of what would have been just their second road victory in four years of existence.
