Video: Adak Island time lapse

Chicago-based photographer David J. Crewe visited Alaska first the first time early July. While adventuring with two photographer friends on Adak Island, Crewe took the opportunity to do what he does best: Capture sublime landscapes. He shot time-lapse footage of Mount Moffet, Lake Shirley, Clam Lagoon, Loran Station and Lake Ashley.

According to Crewe, "It's only the beginning. … I want to get out to Alaska and spend a lot more time there exploring and shooting all the state has to offer. Like many visitors to Alaska, Crewe fell in love with the landscape. "The whole area is an absolute dream."

Crewe plans to travel and teach as much as possible over the next couple of years. He will be teaching through the Arcanum Project and writing through Resource Magazine and Fstoppers.com.
