Video: Allen Moore and Aliy Zirkle reunited under the Burled Arch

After finishing an emotionally difficult Iditarod in third place Tuesday morning, Aliy Zirkle had to wait more than a day to be reunited with her husband Allen Moore, who finished the race in 32nd place. "It's always good to see family," said Moore. Zirkle was hit by a snowmachiner near the Yukon River checkpoint of Nulato. She was not injured and continued racing. But the incident left the fan-favorite musher -- known for her friendly, outgoing personality -- fighting to maintain her composure as she continued down the trail.

She waited at the finish line Wednesday afternoon for her husband to arrive. Watch the video to see their touching moment.
