VIDEO: King salmon return to Anchorage's Ship Creek

King salmon that have returned from the ocean to Ship Creek school up near the Alaska Department of Fish and Game's William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery in Anchorage. They will be used as broodstock to enhance the sport fishing opportunities at Ship Creek, Eklutna Tailrace, Seward, and the Prince William Sound communities of Whittier, Cordova, and Valdez. Fish and Game also stocks area lakes with catchable-sized king salmon for ice fishing.
