Feger-Pellessier is new marketing-communications manager for Bean's Cafe

Anchorage - Bean's Cafe, Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Staci Feger-Pellessier as Marketing-Communications Manager. She will be responsible for making sure the community clearly understands the goals and mission of Bean's Cafe and The Children's Lunchbox, a program of Bean's Cafe. She'll also be overseeing efforts to produce and sell Bean's Cafe merchandise as the organization looks at ways to expand its fundraising efforts.

She has spent the last 25 years in the television news industry. She's managed newsrooms across the country, most recently as news director at KTVA. Feger-Pellessier has served on several non-profit boards, both on the local and national level. Her commitment to helping others combined with her strong communication skills will help ensure the "story" of Bean's Cafe and The Children's Lunchbox is widely heard.

Bean's Cafe, a part of the Anchorage community since February 1979, maintains a center where the hungry and homeless are provided with hot nutritious meals, a warm and safe day shelter, as well as information and referral assistance to health and human service programs.
