Matt Hopper has been one of the most prolific musical artists to come out of Alaska in the last two decades, recording more than 10 albums, mostly with his band The Roman Candles since 1999.
After touring the Southwest in February, Hopper has been in quarantine in New Mexico the last two months. But he’s continuing to produce new music. Hopper reports on his Facebook page that he’s got a new album on the horizon as well as a number of other projects.
Here he plays the moody Neil Young-esque tune “I am John Wayne” remotely with Tate Peterson, singer and guitarist from The Resolectrics.
