$500 reward offered for missing woman Mary Anne Alexie

A $500 reward is being offered for information regarding Mary Ann Alexie, who was reported missing in Anchorage in mid-October and has yet to be found.

Alexie is a 33-year-old woman from Fairbanks who had traveled to Anchorage to attend Alaska Career College. She was last heard from on Oct. 10 after speaking with friends over the phone. She mentioned that she was lost in Spenard, in midtown Anchorage, and did not know where to go.

Alexie is 4-feet-11-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Her sister Crim Alexie told KTUU "I'd do anything to bring my sister back. I'd go to hell and back, to get her back to me."

The group Project Angel Eyes has created a Facebook page dedicated to finding Alexie.

A candlelight vigil for her will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m., at the Spenard Holiday Inn Express, at 4411 Spenard Road in Anchorage.
