APU teammate tops Randall: Kikkan Randall didn't wind on the podium for a second-consecutive day, but America's top cross-country skier still managed a solid 15th-place finish in Saturday's 5K classic-style World Cup race in Kuusamo, Finland. Her Alaska Pacific University teammate Sadie Bjornsen did even better with a seventh-place showing, the best by a North American in the race. A third Anchorage skier from APU, former Olympian Holly Brooks, was 53rd in the race won by former Olympic champion Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland. Bjornsen finished 28.5 seconds behind Kowalczyk and Randall was 47 seconds back. On Friday in a classic style sprint race, Randall finished second.
