Alaska fugitive caught in Maui

According to an announcement from the U.S. Marshals, a fugitive wanted in Alaska on an outstanding warrant for charges of drug conspiracy, 31-year-old Brackston W. Moores, was apprehended without incident at Sprecklesville Beach in Paia, Maui, Hawaii. Moores is accused of possessing and distributing 400 grams or more of a substance containing fentanyl, a synthetic narcotic used medically for pain relief. He is being detained in Honolulu while awaiting extradition.
