Across Alaska, clear skies Sunday night and Monday morning may provide residents with the opportunity to catch a little northern lights action again.

According to an aurora forecast for Oct. 28, moderate activity is expected for most of northern Alaska, the Interior and parts of Southeast. Southcentral Alaskans may miss out this time, but you never know unless you look up.

Currently, the forecast sits at a 3 (out of 9) and predicts that aurora activity should be visible from Barrow to Talkeetna. The forecast adds that lights may be "visible low on the horizon as far south as Bethel, Soldotna and some of Southeast Alaska."
