Search under way for missing Delta Junction man

Alaska State Troopers in Delta Junction are searching for 20 year old Emmanuel "Martin" Hosier, whose car was found parked at a local bluff overlooking the Tanana River on Monday. Hosier was last seen by his family on Sunday at 9 p.m. He did not report to work on Monday morning.

Alaska State Trooper Steve Lantz told the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner that Hosier is an experienced outdoorsman, and is known to hike the area. The hike is common for locals -- hikers walk to the top of a cliff that overlooks the Tanana River and pipeline bridge.

Hosier is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, with black hair and weighing about 180 pounds. Troopers ask anyone with information about Hosier's whereabouts to call the Delta Junction trooper post at (907) 895-4800.
