A Two Rivers man was killed early Sunday when the car he was driving collided with a moose on Chena Hot Springs Road, east of Fairbanks, Alaska State Troopers said.
Troopers were called to the scene at 1:26 a.m., according to a dispatch posted online.
Larry Woods Jr., 50, was driving on Chena Hot Springs Road "at high speed" with a passenger when his 2011 Audi hit a moose, troopers wrote.
Woods Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
