Expect delays following 3 inbound Glenn Highway crashes early Tuesday

Three collisions inbound on the Glenn Highway early Tuesday may slow morning commuter traffic, according to Anchorage police.

In a statement, police warned drivers to "expect delays" in connection with the crashes, including two at the South Eagle River exit in which vehicles have been moved to the side of the road.

"A third collision between Muldoon (Road) and Boniface (Parkway) on the right shoulder is still active," police wrote. "Motorists should be prepared to merge left."

Police spokeswoman Anita Shell said dispatchers had not received any reports of injuries in the collisions.
