Driver in fatal Old Seward Highway crash identified

The man who died in a single-car crash on the Old Seward Highway early Wednesday morning has been identified as Roy Miller Jr., age 28, Anchorage police said Thursday.

He was driving a red Lincoln Navigator that crashed into a light pole on the 4600 block of the Old Seward Highway, police said Wednesday. Miller, the only person in the car, died at the scene, Thim said.

Speed and weather conditions were a factor, police said.
