A Sand Point man has been missing in Anchorage since Sunday, his family said, and they are asking the public to be on the lookout for him.

Robert Dushkin III, 27, was last seen early Jan. 7 in South Anchorage near the Old Seward Highway and 120th Avenue, said his sister, Nellie Roehl.
Dushkin is 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 195 pounds and has broad shoulders, Roehl said. He was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Roehl said Dushkin has been living in Anchorage since June. He had begun to show signs of mental illness, perhaps schizophrenia, although he was awaiting diagnosis by a psychiatrist, she said. A doctor at Alaska Native Medical Center prescribed him medication, which he stopped taking the day before he disappeared, Roehl said.
Dushkin has three open court cases out of Sand Point. In two of the cases, he is charged with assault.

Anchorage police don't consider Dushkin to be a danger to the public, according to spokeswoman Nora Morse, but she asked anyone who sees Dushkin to call the Anchorage Police Department at 907-786-8900 so officers can make contact with him.
On Thursday, Roehl and the Anchorage Police Department searched for Dushkin where he was last seen. Roehl has also searched the area between Spenard and International Airport Road, near her home.
