Anchorage

What do you want to ask Anchorage candidates running in the 2019 city election?

We’re putting together detailed issue surveys for all the candidates running for Anchorage Assembly and School Board in this year’s city election. The idea is to give voters a good idea where the candidates stand — one survey for Assembly candidates, one for School Board candidates, and we’ll publish all the responses.

We want your help. What would you like to ask? What are the most important issues this year? What questions would help distinguish the candidates in meaningful ways?

Post your suggestions in the form below or send them directly to me at dhulen@adn.com or to reporter Devin Kelly at dkelly@adn.com. Thanks.

Friday was the deadline for candidates to file. Here’s our rundown of who’s running for what.

The deadline to register to vote is March 3. Ballots go out on March 12. The last day to vote is Tuesday, April 2.
