Road construction projects around Anchorage will cause lane closures and traffic delays this weekend, according to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. Here’s a look at some high-traffic areas that will be affected.

• Northbound Knik River Bridge/Glenn Highway: A crew will be working on expansion joint transitions of the Knik River Bridge, south of the Glenn Highway-Parks Highway Interchange, causing northbound lane closures Saturday and Sunday.

• Seward Highway between Tudor Road and East 36th Avenue: Lanes of the Seward Highway between Tudor and East 36th will be closed Sunday while construction crews level uneven sections of the road caused by the Nov. 30 earthquake, DOT said. This will be a temporary fix until permanent repairs are made next summer.

• Minnesota Drive and Spenard Road: The intersection of Minnesota and Spenard will be repaved Sunday.
