Anchorage police: Old Seward Highway collision leaves pedestrian with life-threatening injuries

A pedestrian involved in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Dimond Boulevard and the Old Seward Highway Friday afternoon received life-threatening injuries, police say.

Officers responded to the scene of the collision, according to an Anchorage Police Department alert. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital.

The southbound lanes of the Old Seward were temporarily closed for the investigation, police said.
