What questions do you want to ask candidates for Anchorage Assembly and school board?

As the April 4 Anchorage municipal election approaches, we’ll be asking candidates a series of questions about where they stand on issues facing the city.

Seven Assembly seats will be on the ballot, along with two seats on the school board.

We’re looking for input from readers. What do you think we should ask candidates?

We’ll be working with Alaska Public Media on a survey. We will publish candidates’ answers in print and online so voters can be informed and compare candidates.

We’ll be asking a separate set of questions for Assembly and school board. Each candidate will get the same questions.

In addition, we’d love to hear your ideas for how we can best cover the election.
