Three people were rescued after a plane went down near the Knik Glacier on Thursday, according to Alaska State Troopers. Troopers said there were no injuries reported.

According to an online release from the troopers, an emergency signal was received at around 12:30 p.m. from a pilot who reported “a downed plane” near the glacier. Knik Glacier is about 20 miles southeast of Palmer.

The Alaska Rescue Coordination Center responded and transported two of the three passengers to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. The third passenger was picked up by a good Samaritan and taken to the Birchwood Airport in Chugiak.
