Anchorage man gets 115-year sentence in lengthy child sex abuse case

An Anchorage judge sentenced Keone Jason Lee, 33, to 115 years in prison for sexually abusing two young sisters who stayed with him in his camper trailer.

Lee was found guilty in September of 18 counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first and second degrees, third-degree assault and child pornography possession. He was originally charged in August 2011.

According to a release from assistant attorney general Adam Alexander, the case was "difficult and resource intensive."

Lee invited a homeless family to stay in the camper he lived in, which was parked in his parents' driveway, prosecutors said. Lee opportunistically abused two girls in that family, ages 6 and 11, and he once threatened one of those girls with a sharpened sword, they said.

Alexander said Anchorage Superior Court Judge Jack Smith characterized Lee's crimes as "reprehensible" before imposing the flat, composite sentence of 115 years.
