Charges say search of Kodiak man's home turned up pounds of drugs, 31 firearms

A Kodiak man faces a federal drug charge after a search of his home uncovered nearly a pound each of methamphetamine and heroin and a cache of firearms, according to a charging document.

Wahyu Sanjoyo has been charged with possession and intent to distribute three kinds of controlled substances.

Sanjoyo was arrested inside his home when law enforcement served a search warrant on Tuesday, the charges say.

Around a pound each of meth and heroin were seized, as well as 161 grams of cocaine, the charges say. All of the substances tested positive in the field, authorities say.

"In addition, thirty-one firearms were seized," the charges say. Investigators believe at least two of the guns were stolen: a rifle reported stolen in Kodiak last year and a pistol listed as stolen in 2005 by a sheriff's office in Wisconsin, according to the charges.

During a subsequent interview, Sanjoyo told investigators he sold meth and heroin, the charges state. He also allegedly said he discharged firearms to scare a rival drug dealer in the community, according to the charges.
