Man found guilty of sexually abusing teen girl over a decade ago

Chad Williams, 43, was found guilty of sexually abusing a teenage girl on numerous occasions in 2005, prosecutors said.

According to Assistant District Attorney Saritha Anjilvel, who prosecuted the case, the jury found Williams guilty of four counts of third-degree sexual abuse of a minor after a five-day trial.

The victim reported the abuse as an adult in 2015 to the Anchorage Police Department. She told police she was 16 or 17 years old when she was abused by Williams, who'd been in her life since she was 3, prosecutors said.

Willams' sentencing is set for Sept. 29.
