Police seek suspect believed to have robbed pizza delivery driver at gunpoint

Anchorage police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint on Sunday evening.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 24-year-old George Wong-Sin, the police department said in a statement.

Wong-Sin is suspected in the armed robbery that happened in the 4400 block of San Ernesto Avenue in East Anchorage, police said.

The delivery driver called police at 4:48 p.m. to report the robbery, police said. The driver said two people placed an order and met him outside an apartment building, police said.

"One person, identified as Wong-Sin, threatened the victim with a gun and took the pizza. No one was injured," police said.

Wong-Sin was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Another suspect is wanted in the robbery but police said they do not have information on that person.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the police department at 907-786-8900, or to submit an anonymous tip through Anchorage Crime Stoppers.
