A 32-year-old Anchorage man eluded Alaska State Troopers for 25 miles near Delta Junction before he was arrested on related charges as well as $35,000 in outstanding warrants, authorities say.
Troopers said they got information just after noon Monday about a possible disturbance involving stolen property at a Richardson Highway pullout near Delta, according to an online dispatch. They found Previn Deveroux in a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban previously reported stolen near a gas station.

Deveroux fled in the Suburban when he spotted a trooper trying to stop him and eluded capture for 25 miles, troopers said. In the process, he forced other motorists to get out of the way and didn't yield to an ambulance on a medical call.
Deveroux was arrested without incident, troopers said.
It appears he may have run out of gas, spokesman Tim DeSpain said. No spikes were used to stop him.
The trooper who made the arrest could see a handgun within Deveroux's reach, DeSpain said.
He was jailed without bail at Fairbanks Correctional Facility on charges of first-degree failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer, third-degree weapons misconduct for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and driving on a canceled license.
Anchorage police had asked the public for information about Deveroux in an alert that listed arrest warrants on original charges including robbery, burglary, fraud, vehicle theft, criminal mischief, theft and contempt of court.
