PALMER -- Alaska State Troopers now say a man and woman found dead on a Wasilla-area property Feb. 18 died in an apparent murder-suicide.
Troopers last week said they discovered the bodies of Sarah Klingener, 47, and Shawn McVey, 57, at a residence near Bogard Road. A family member of Klingener reported the deaths.
An investigation determined that Klingener’s death was a homicide and McVey died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to an update posted Tuesday. No one else was believed to be involved.
