Police are looking for a suspect in the shooting deaths of two women in Kenai early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened inside a home on California Avenue, off the Kenai Spur Highway, early Sunday morning, according to the Kenai Police Department.
The two victims, who have not been identified, are members of the same family, said Kenai Police Department Lieutenant Ben Langham.
Police say they believe the victims and the suspect had “some association” and knew each other, Langham said.
The suspect, who was at large Sunday night, is considered “armed and dangerous,” according to a statement from Kenai police.
“Preliminary investigation revealed a suspect that reportedly fled the scene, described as a heavy set black male wearing a gray hoodie and orange cap,” the statement said.
