A man was found dead late Tuesday in an East Anchorage residence, and police said the circumstances are suspicious.
Officers were called to the 4600 block of East Fourth Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on a report of an unconscious person. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in an alert.
“While the cause of death is still under investigation, the victim’s death is considered suspicious in nature,” the alert said.
An investigation was continuing. The victim’s name wasn’t released pending notification of family, police said.
