Three family members were found dead Tuesday inside a Palmer home, Alaska State Troopers said.
Troopers went to the Cottrell Campus Drive home around 9 p.m. for a welfare check and found 71-year-old Gerald Brown, 70-year-old Karen Brown and 42-year-old Jeffery Brown dead, troopers said in a post online.
Ken Marsh, a spokesman for the troopers, said the three people were related but did not provide further details. He said troopers do not believe there is a risk to the public.
The bodies were brought to the State Medical Examiner Office in Anchorage for an autopsy, and next of kin have been notified, troopers said. The investigation is ongoing.
