Man in critical condition after collapsing from stab wound in Midtown

A man was taken to the hospital early Sunday with a life-threatening stab wound after he collapsed in the Midtown McDonald’s parking lot, police said.

Investigators said the man was stabbed in the upper body by another man near West 30th Avenue and Arctic Boulevard before he walked to the McDonald’s parking lot on Northern Lights Boulevard. Officers were called to the area just after 2:20 a.m., police wrote in an online statement.

Police said there were no suspects immediately and the circumstances surrounding the stabbing were unclear. Anyone with information or surveillance footage related to the stabbing is asked to call dispatch at 311.
