Anchorage driver pointed handgun at occupants of another vehicle in Parks Highway road rage incident, troopers say

A 31-year-old Anchorage woman cut off a small bus traveling on the Parks Highway near Fairbanks on Sunday evening, then pulled a gun on the occupants, Alaska State Troopers say.

Angelina Samana was arrested on eight counts of third-degree assault, according to an online release posted Monday.

The agency said dispatchers in Fairbanks received a report of a “road rage incident” on the northbound Parks just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Responding troopers learned Samana cut off the bus with eight people inside then stopped, got out of her pickup, and pointed a handgun at the bus and its occupants, troopers said. Samana was pulled over and arrested.

She remained jailed at Fairbanks Correctional Center on Monday.
