Troopers identified a Hooper Bay woman as the person whose body was found along the Parks Highway north of Willow last weekend.
In a statement on Monday, troopers provided few details about the death of 26-year-old Arnoldine Simone Hill, but said the investigation was being treated as a homicide.
Troopers wrote that the cause and manner of death would be determined through an autopsy. Additional information about the death was not immediately available when troopers identified Hill on Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing and troopers asked anyone with information about the case to call 907-352-5401.
