Update, 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30: Alexandra Briseno, 28, was identified as the woman who died Friday, police wrote in an updated statement.
A spokeswoman for the police did not provide additional information about the shooting or investigation on Tuesday, but said no arrests had been made.

Anchorage police responding to a report of shots fired this week in Midtown found a woman dead and a man injured.
No arrests have been made so far in the homicide investigation, Anchorage police said in an alert Friday.
Police said officers responded at 5:10 a.m. Friday to a residential neighborhood at the 3100 block of Cheechako Street, southeast of the intersection of Arctic and Benson boulevards.
When they arrived, police found two victims: a woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and a man with injuries described as not life-threatening, according to the Anchorage Police Department. The man was taken to the hospital.
Cheechako Street was temporarily closed between West 31st and West 32nd avenues as a crime scene team processed the scene, police said.
Police asked anyone with information about the investigation, including surveillance footage from the area, to call dispatch at 311 (option 1).
