Education

School is about to start in Anchorage. Parents, we want to hear from you.

After making it through a tumultuous 2020-2021 school year, it’s already time for Anchorage families to prepare for kids to go back to class.

Most schools in the Anchorage School District reopen on Aug. 17, and classes will be in-person. But with COVID-19 cases on the rise once again, there will be additional safety measures in place in Anchorage schools — including a requirement for students and staff to wear masks indoors.

If you’re a parent or caregiver with a student returning to class in the Anchorage School District, we want to hear from you: How are you feeling at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, and why?

You can share your experience in the form below, and a reporter may reach out to learn more.
