Emergency responders pull man’s body from Fairbanks lake

FAIRBANKS — The body of a man was found in a lake in south Fairbanks.

Alaska State Troopers on Tuesday night received a report of a possible drowning in the lake at Lakeview Terrace, a mobile home development.

The Fort Wainwright dive team and fire departments responded and emergency personnel recovered the body.

Fairbanks television station KTVF reports the man was a foreign national who may have been visiting Fairbanks.

The man’s name was not been released because next of kin had not been notified.
