A Fairbanks man died this week after a medical emergency caused him to drive a commercial vehicle off the Dalton Highway, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Kendall Baukol, 47, was driving a tractor trailer when he experienced the medical emergency early Wednesday and his vehicle left the roadway, troopers wrote in an online statement Thursday. Troopers were called to the rollover accident at Mile 11 of the Dalton Highway just after 8 a.m., according to the statement. The area is about 90 miles northwest of Fairbanks.
