Glenn Highway between Palmer and Sutton to close for several hours Thursday night

The Glenn Highway will be closed in both directions between Palmer and Sutton for several hours overnight Thursday into Friday, the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities said in Facebook post.

According to DOT, the road closure will last from 10 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday at Mile 54.2 of the Glenn while a culvert damaged in the Nov. 30 earthquake is replaced.

Drivers can expect delays of an hour or longer, DOT said on its Alaska 511 page.
