Wasilla man dies in single-vehicle rollover crash, troopers say

A 25-year-old Wasilla man died late Saturday night in a rollover crash that ejected him from his vehicle, Alaska State Troopers said.

An initial investigation indicated that the vehicle he was driving left West Seldon Road near North Tamar Circle in Wasilla “at a high rate of speed” and overturned multiple times, troopers said in an online report. The driver was ejected from the vehicle, which came to a stop about 20 feet in the ditch, troopers said.

Troopers were called to the site of the crash around 10 p.m., and other emergency responders located the driver after they arrived, according to troopers. The driver, who was not identified in the report, was the only person in the car, troopers said.

Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
