2 women found dead in Wasilla home likely died of carbon monoxide poisoning, troopers say

Two women found dead in a Wasilla home on Saturday are suspected to have died from carbon monoxide poisoning, Alaska State Troopers said.

The bodies of Rosa Schlosser, 21, and Desiree Michaud, 19, were found in a home in the Williwaw subdivision in Wasilla, troopers said in a statement posted online. The deaths were reported to troopers early Saturday afternoon, troopers said.

A generator was running in a crawlspace of the home, and the women likely died from carbon monoxide poisoning, troopers wrote. No foul play was suspected and the bodies were sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsies, troopers said.
