Body of unidentified man pulled from Kuskokwim River near Bethel

Search-and-rescuers in Bethel recovered a man’s body from the Kuskokwim River on Tuesday afternoon, according to a statement from the Bethel Police Department.

Bethel Search and Rescue volunteers were looking for Paul Kaganak, who they believe fell into the Kuskokwim River early Saturday morning, when they discovered the remains near Crowley Fuels on Standard Oil Road, police Lt. Amy Davis said in an email.
