Woman dies when ATV crashes into power pole in Southwest Alaska

A woman in a Southwest Alaska village died when the ATV she was riding struck a power pole, according to an Alaska State Troopers online report.

Troopers received a report about the death of 28-year-old Jael Paul of Pilot Station at 4:53 a.m. Friday, they said.

Paul’s next of kin have been notified, troopers said.
