Alaska's DOT releases 'tentative' airport master plan schedule

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport has published a working list of tentatively scheduled meetings related to the Airport's Master Plan Update for 2013.

The scheduled agenda may vary*, but will look something like:

According to the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, "Each meeting will be publicly noticed 7-14 days in advance of the meeting date via the State of Alaska's Online Public Notice system, on the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Website, on the Master Plan Update website ... and via direct email to members of the public who have signed up for email notice."

The Master Plan Update will take an estimated 18 months to complete (June 2012 through December 2013). Public involvement has been steady since September 2012 and is expected to continue through May 2013 when the alternatives are being prepared and screened. See timeline below.

Meetings are open to the public. Meeting locations are yet to be determined and will be published on the website when scheduled. Check DOT's Master Plan page for information on locations and times.
